TRAINING DEPARTMENT
The Training Department is responsible for the training of new and current employees, employment background investigations, and recruiting.

TRAINING
The Training Department handles new hire orientations with the assistance of our Human Resources Department, Administrative Lieutenant, and other staff, oversees on-the-job training, or “field training”, of new officers, and prepares officers for the Basic Jail Officer School at the academy.
​
The Training Department is also responsible for the training and training records of all current employees to include maintaining training records, coordinating training and qualifications, and registering employees for training.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS
The Training Department conducts background investigations on all employment applicants and current employees to include criminal history, driving records, work history, etc.

RECRUITING
